Giselle is back!

If you’ve been dreaming of an Enchanted sequel, then that dream is finally coming true! That's right, Disney confirmed the follow-up film, Disenchanted in 2020—and ever since, we've been really, truly excited. Amy Adams' beloved character Giselle is returning for more "fantastical fun," 15 years after the would-be princess from Andalasia found herself in the real world's New York City and was saved by a true love's kiss in the original 2007 movie.

“Working again with Disney has been like coming home,” director Adam Shankman said ina statement. “With Amy and this extraordinary cast, Alan [Menken] and Stephen [Schwartz]’s mind-blowing new score, and Barry [Josephson] and Disney’s support, I just hope to bring magic and joy to audiences around the world.”

From Disenchanted's star-studded cast to the release date and how to watch, here is everything we know so far about the Enchanted sequel... cue "That's How You Know!"

Are Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey in the Enchanted sequel Disenchanted?

Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey reprise their roles as Giselle and Robert for the sequel. "There’s a lot more singing and a lot more dancing, which was humbling," the Golden Globe-winning actress told Jimmy Fallon in 2021. "The last time I really danced as much as I’m required to dance in this, I was in my twenties, and now I’m not in my twenties. It feels different in your forties. In my heart, I look like I’m in my twenties when I’m dancing, and then I would watch playback and I'd be like, ‘Whoa, that’s not the same."

Who else is in the Disenchanted cast?

Enchanted stars James Marsden and Idina Menzel, whose characters Prince Edward and Nancy Tremaine, tied the knot at the end of the original movie, also came back for the sequel.

"My character especially is completely different because at the end of the first movie she jumps down a manhole with James Marsden," Menzel previously revealed to Parade.com. "She goes from being this New York chick to like living in [an] animated fairytale world. So it was fun to figure out how much of her New York self she kept with her, and how much she just kind of bought into being the queen of Andalasia and having this hot prince, who’s off like slaying dragons and stuff. So, it was just really fun."

Dempsey's daughter Morgan from the first film is all grown up in Disenchanted and being played by newcomer Gabriella Baldacchino.

As Maya Rudolph tweeted, "What’s a good fairy tale without a great villain?" The actress will play Giselle’s new adversary in Monroeville: Malvina. "I’ll see you in Andalasia my pretties....," Rudolph tweeted in 2021.

Malvina's son will be portrayed by Kolton Stewart. The cast also includes Yvette Nicole Brown as Rosalyn, Jayma Mays as Ruby and Oscar Nunez as Edgar.

Is there a trailer for the Enchanted sequel Disenchanted?

Disenchanted is set 15 years after Giselle found her real-life prince charming in Dempsey's character, Robert. Will there be more music in the Enchanted sequel Disenchanted?

Get ready to sing along once again! The new film will feature new songs from Menken and Schwartz, whose work on the first movie scored three Academy Award nominations. While fans were robbed of Tony winner Menzel's voice in Enchanted, the Wicked alum will be singing in Disenchanted. "You hear me a lot," she previously told Parade.com. "Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken wrote the most beautiful, romantic, inspiring song lyric[s], and I’m very excited for all of you to hear it."

Menzel added, "James and I get to do a song as well and so there’s lots more music in this movie than the first. Even for Amy. Amy’s singing her butt off and Maya Rudolph is singing and there’s so much great music."

Disenchanted will mark Dempsey's singing debut. "I will be singing for the first time. I’ve never ever sung publicly—for a reason. So bear with me. I hope the fans embrace it," the actor told Variety in 2021. "But they’ve set me up for success and the lyrics are really fun. The numbers have really great choreography. And the premise is going to be interesting."
