Amy Schumer’s Inside Amy Schumer just won the first ever Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series, and while on stage accepting her award, Schumer remarked that she should have prepared a speech beforehand. “Thanks everybody who helped me — the girl who gave me this smoky eye,” she said, giving a shout out to her makeup artist. The woman responsible? Andréa Tiller of The Wall Group. Right before Schumer accepted the award, Tiller post a photo on Instagram of the makeup team doing touchups right in front of the Emmys stage. “Only for u Amy! #rideordies #Emmys2015 #touchups #nbd,” she wrote. At the premiere of Trainwreck in June 2015, Tiller also gave Schumer a smoky eye, using Laura Mercier Baked Eye Colour in Black Karat ($24).

Schumer’s most viral sketch, “Girl You Don’t Need Makeup,” with over three million individual viewers, is nominated for an Emmy Award tonight, in fact. The music video spoof parodies songs like One Direction’s 2011 pop hit “What Makes You Beautiful” (is that you’re insecure and you’re conventionally beautiful so you don’t need makeup in the first place).

In Schumer’s video, after the boy band urges her to dispense with her beauty routine “cuz you’ve got that inner natural glow,” they take back their words: “I didn’t realize that your lashes were so stubby and pale / Just a little mascara and you’ll look female.” Schumer’s makeup artist Tiller must be thrilled tonight — and Schumer, along with her mixed-gender writing staff, proves that she’s supportive of all the women on her team.
