This Texas Boot Brand Gets the Ultimate Boost From Beyoncé in Her New ‘Cowboy Carter’ Album
Beyoncé is giving heritage boot brand Lucchese a big boost this weekend.
The Dallas-based label is name-checked early on in the superstar’s just-released “Sweet Honey Buckiin” song from her new “Cowboy Carter” album when rising Nigerian-American rapper Shaboozey sings, ‘Lucchese the boots, check.’

“From one native Texas brand to another fellow Texan, we are honored to be recognized,” Fallon Appleton, senior manager of brand communications at Lucchese, told FN.
On Friday, the day the song was released, Lucchese — which marked its 140th anniversary in 2023 — saw an increase in web traffic and new visitors. “We are excited to welcome new brand fans as they discover our mutual love of the Western lifestyle,” Appleton said.
With the superstar’s brand new country album already captivating audiences everywhere, fans and the fashion world have been catching cowboy fever — and a number of other boot brands are also reaping the benefits. In a major moment, Beyoncé sports a pair of white Paris Texas boots on her album cover.
“Paris Texas aims to continue its role as a trendsetter in reinterpreting the Western trend. The recent prominence of Western-inspired elements in fashion and high-profile examples like Beyoncé’s country album and Pharrell’s cowboy-inspired Louis Vuitton collection suggest that this trend will likely continue evolving,” said Annamaria Brivio, founder and creative director of Paris Texas.
Indeed, google searches for cowboy boots have soared in recent months, and Beyoncé’s loyal fan base is eager to emulate her Western style.
As the star sings on “Sweet Honey Buckiin,” “Wear that sh*t that I know start a trend.”
The three-part song, which also features Pharrell Williams, is also getting attention for Beyoncé’s commentary on her multiple Grammy snubs.
