Our edgy queen Tessa Thompson slayed the red carpet in at the Venice Film Festival with a gothic look and sky-high heels.

Tessa, 38, attended the Venice Film Festival premiere of Blonde, a new Netflix film starring Ana de Armas, on Thursday, and let’s just say she definitely looked the part of the movie star. The movie, which is based on a book of the same title, is an exaggerated take on the life of Marilyn Monroe.

Now Tessa wasn’t serving Marilyn like Ana did Thursday and, of course, memorably Kim Kardashian at the Met Gala in May. But if you were looking for a sexy undertaker vibe to head into spooky season...pin this look to your inspo board!

The West World actress wore a look from Interior’s fall collection. Tessa wore a glittering black mesh hooded dress over a black bra top and high-waisted shorts. She paired this with a chain choker and rings from Pomellato.

Tessa added a pair of 8-inch black heels, blunt blonde bangs, and purple lipgloss to tie this truly stunning look together.

Tessa is not only looking cool AF on the carpet but super strong as well.

Tessa, who has also starred in Creed and Men In Black, got seriously jacked for her role as Valkyrie in her recent movie Thor: Love and Thunder. Tessa told CBR she put on an extra 15 pounds (!) of muscle for the movie. Damn girl!

“I like sort of bucking this conventional idea of a woman is beautiful or sexy if she’s sort of thin," she said. "She’s felt, but you can’t really see her strength. I like the idea that she can just be ripped like Valkyrie is in the comics. Yeah, I found that sort of essential, that not really caring about how I looked but caring more about how I felt. I felt so strong, and in my skin.”

Love this! Keep crushing it, Tessa.

I’ll be here anxiously awaiting your next red carpet appearance...
