She donned a larger-than-life collar and ribbon tied hair.

What could've gone really wrong, went really right for actress Tessa Thompson and her extravagant collar at the Disney+ New York screening of "Lady And The Tramp." Now, this may be a reach, but I couldn't help but wonder if Thompson's collar was supposed to be reminiscent of Lady, the long-eared Cocker Spaniel voiced by Thompson herself in the Disney classic. Coincidence? I think not.

Accompanying #thecollar, which appeared to be made of silk, was a linen, oatmeal-colored pantsuit by Loewe that flared at her waist and ankles. For accessories, she wore a beaded, gold Tiffany & Co. chain that was strategically draped around her shoulders, dripping slightly to her feet. If stylists Wayman and Micah meant for the chain to resemble strands of spaghetti (you know, from that scene), then extra kudos to them!

Artist Jessica Smalls kept Thompson's makeup fairly simple with a wash of pink for her lips and cheeks and a smokey green eye topped with a hint of gold glitter. Her hair, crafted by stylist Lacy Redway, was another showstopper: a long ponytail tied with pieces of ribbon. Very ladylike indeed.
