While it should go without saying that moms of all sizes can be super ~*SeXy~*, some new moms can have trouble believing it. After all, even the most confident women can struggle to accept their bodies after giving birth, and many find it difficult to reclaim their sexuality after childbirth.

Enter plus-size model, Tess Holliday, a body-acceptance advocate whose first child just turned 1-year-old.

Although Tess has 1.4 million Instagram followers and plenty of positive reinforcement from her adoring fans, Tess recently posted a selfie with an important note to self that suggests she, too, sometimes falls prey to the ickiest new mom feelings.

"Gentle reminder to myself that as a mom, I deserve to feel sexy and desired," she wrote in her caption. "Fat women and moms are robbed of our sexuality so I'm here to tell you to stop that shit."

In the course of 15 hours, Tess's post racked up more than 33,500 likes and nearly 370 comments. Although her feed often garners this sort of attention, this particular post appears to have struck a chord among new moms and expectant ones who really needed to be reminded of their worth, too.

"I've always been a big girl, but now, at 20 weeks pregnant, I feel more unattractive and less desirable than I ever have," one follower wrote in the comments. "Your words mean so much to me today."

Another mother chimed in with similar sentiments: "Since I've had littles, I've felt the need to put myself on the back burner for everyone else. I forgot to love myself," she wrote.

Tess jumped in to engage with commenters who seemed particularly stuck. To one woman who said she really couldn't find the strength to feel confident, Tess responded with the A+ advice to be patient.

"I'm fortunate to have a partner that tells me I'm sexy often, but if you aren't feeling it, it doesn't sink in," Tess wrote. "Just remember this is all temporary, these icky feelings will go away. Just dig deep & hold your head high."

One year into motherhood, Tess's approach appears to be working.
