America's Got Talent has a new host!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor and activist Terry Crews is the host of Simon Cowell's spinoff America's Got Talent: The Champions. Reports indicate that Tyra Banks, who just wrapped up her hosting duties for season 13, will still be on for the summer edition of the show.

For Champions, Simon aims to bring the most memorable top acts from all seasons and all global versions of the show to one stage to compete. Think Grace Avery VanderWaal (season 11), ventriloquist Terry Fator (season 2), and, of course, the dog trick act Olate Dogs (season 7) ... all together.

"I have always wanted to have a competition show for the very best of the best Got Talent acts from around the world,” Simon declared in a statement when announcing the launch of the show. "The variety and the talents of the acts who enter Got Talent globally are incredible and unbelievable."

Not surprisingly, since this is the brain child of Simon, he is a judge on the show and also serves as the executive producer. Judges Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel have returned as well.

"I am so proud and honored to join Simon, Mel, Heidi, and Howie in hosting the #1 alternative series on television,” Terry said. “Now America’s got Terry Crews!”

How about that for a new show title?
