This Terrifying New Netflix Show Has Already Hit Their Top 10 List

If you’ve already binge-watched Tiny Pretty Things and need a new series that’s equally as thrilling, you’ve come to the right place.

Sweet Home just premiered on Netflix last week, and it’s already claimed the number seven spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched TV shows. (It’s currently ranked behind Tiny Pretty Things, The Ripper and Manhunt: Deadly Games.)

Sweet Home is a Korean television series that’s based on the namesake comic by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan. It tells the story of Cha Hyun-soo (Song Kang), a loner who moves to a new apartment complex to get a fresh start after the death of his family.

After a series of strange incidents, he soon learns the apartment is haunted by monsters disguised as humans. This forces him to step out of his comfort zone and team up with his neighbors in an attempt to survive.

In addition to Song Kang, Sweet Home also stars Lee Jin-wook (Pyeon Sang-wook), Lee Si-young (Seo Yi-kyeong), Lee Do-hyun (Lee Eun-hyuk), Kim Nam-hee (Jung Jae-heon), Go Min-si (Lee Eun-yoo), Park Kyu-young (Yoon Ji-soo), Go Yoon-jung (Park Yoo-ri), Kim Kap-soo (Ahn Gil-seop) and Kim Sang-ho (Han Du-sik).

The show was directed by Lee Eung-bok and Jang Young-woo. Hong So-ri, Kim Hyung-min and Park So-jung wrote the script.

Although Netflix hasn’t officially renewed Sweet Home for season two, many believe it’s only a matter of time.
