Teresa Giudice's Daughter Milania Opens Up About 40-Pound Weight Loss

Milania Giudice is getting candid about her weight loss journey.
Milania, the 17-year-old daughter of Teresa Giudice, recently opened up about shedding 40 pounds between middle school and high school, a change she apparently decided to make after feeling a bit of pressure from her family.
"I was way thicker in middle school. Like, I was a pumpkin," the teen stated while appearing on her mom's Namaste Bitches podcast, calling middle school her "weird era."
"And then one day it hit me, I was like, 'That's it,'" she said. "I literally felt like [I was] suffocating with my own body. I was like, 'No, no, no, I can't do this anymore.'"
"So one day I told my mom to get me a nutritionist and she did, and I ate three meals a day and they were literally the healthiest meals," she explained, adding that she would work out for 30 minutes before school and then again after school got out.
"In two months, I lost 50 pounds," she revealed, noting that her body was "like a stick" at the time, though she has since gained some of the weight back.
While talking about her motivation for losing the weight, Milania said it was comments from her mom and sisters that eventually led her to make a change.

"My mom would never say anything to me, but she'd say, 'Oh, you're gonna have another ice cream?'" Milania recalled. "My sisters would always throw jabs at me like, 'Oh, you're going to have another ice cream after dinner?'"
In addition to Milania, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 51, is a mom to three other daughters: Gia, 22, Gabriella, 19, and Audriana, 13.
"They have to want to do it themselves," Teresa said of her daughter's experience with weight loss. "You can't force them and I didn't want her to have a complex or anything. I thought she looked adorable, she was just a little thicker."
