Bike park season is just around the corner.

Telluride Bike Park in western Colorado announced that it plans to open for the season on June 22nd.

Telluride Mountain Resort closed for skiing on April 7th, giving the park two short months to get ready for bike season. The park will be open daily starting June 22nd until September 7th and then be open on weekends only until September 29th.

Telluride has a storied history when it comes to mountain biking. In 2002, the bike park hosted a UCI World Cup which was won by legends Steve Peat and Anne-Caroline Chausson. Telluride was set to host a World Cup the following year but it got cancelled.
