Song covers can be a great tribute to the original artist while also putting a new spin on a beloved classic. It also leaves the artist covering the song open for criticism and hate from people who adore the original.

I don't know if you've ever noticed, but music fans have some really, and I mean REALLY strong opinions. It can sometimes be intimidating to admit when you actually like something that goes against the mob of public opinion.

So, I'm asking the BuzzFeed Community: What cover of a song do you like more than the original?

For example, you might prefer Whitney Houston's cover of "I Will Always Love You" over the original by Dolly Parton.

Or, maybe you believe the cover of "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley is superior to Leonard Cohen's version.

Or maybe you unironically love Jessica Simpson's "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" over the original by Nancy Sinatra. (I won't judge)

Whichever song, tell me about it and why you like it more than the original in the comments below, and your response could be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed post! If you prefer to stay anonymous, fill out this Google form here.
