Teenage Prodigy Makes History as First Female to Ever Land This Trick

This skateboarder, Arisa Trew, has recently made history as the first female EVER to land a 720 in a skateboarding contest... and she is only 13 years old! Not only was she the first female in the world to land this trick in the contest, but it was also her first time ever landing this trick. You go Glen Coco!

The trick, two mid air rotations, was first completed by Tony Hawk in 1985. Since then, the skater Tony Hawk became a global household brand with his own line of games. Arisa Trew, the 13 year old shredder from Australia's Gold Coast, has now become the first female to emulate Hawk's success. And, appropriately, it was at the Tony Hawk Vert Alert contest where she succeeded. The 720, an awe-inspiring skateboarding trick, pushes the boundaries of aerial acrobatics. With deft precision and sheer audacity, the skater spins two full rotations in mid-air before landing gracefully on the board. It demands exceptional skill, timing, and fearlessness. The 720 epitomizes the daring spirit of skateboarding, captivating both participants and spectators with its breathtaking display of athleticism.
