Two high school students in Iowa earned their high school diplomas to help show their children that they could do anything they set their minds to.

Marshay Collier told KCCI that her 10-month-old daughter, Camiya, was a driving force behind her finally receiving her diploma. Dressed in a pink cap and gown, Camiya was right with Collier when she finally walked across the stage.

"I was so excited to walk the stage," Collier told the station. She admits that there were moments throughout her high school career when she didn't think she would actually graduate, especially with the added responsibility of raising a child. But hard work and determination, and wanting to set an example for her daughter, resulted in her becoming a high school graduate.

Ivory Jensen knows exactly how Collier feels, as her daughters were also there to see her accept her diploma.

"I graduated high school, with my class, with two kids," Jensen said.

After Jensen accepted her diploma, her 2-year-old daughter ran up to her during the ceremony.

"She came crying and running up to me and then it made me cry because I was able to tell her I did it," Jensen said. "Your mommy did it!"
