Teen Internet Star's Mom Hit With Sexual Abuse Allegations

Eleven minors detailed allegations of sexual abuse, harassment, molestation, and financial exploitation.

Tiffany Smith, the mom of YouTuber Piper Rockelle, has been accused of sexual abuse, harassment, molestation, and financial exploitation by 11 minors and content creators.

The complaint was filed in 2022, but court documents surfaced just this week. The trial was initially scheduled to begin in Los Angeles on April 17, however, the plaintiffs' attorney Matt Sarelson told The New York Post that the trial was rescheduled for November 6.

The plaintiffs—who are former members of the "Piper Squad"—are seeking $2 million in damages from Smith and her 25-year-old boyfriend Hunter Hill, bringing the estimated combined total to $22 million.

Court documents show the severity of the accusations, including multiple allegations of inappropriately touching the minors and making graphic comments about their bodies.

Some of the plaintiffs alleged that Smith would also make sexual comments about the teenage boys who appeared in her daughter's video. Other allegations include Smith taking on the alter ego of "Lenny the Dead Cat," where she supposedly chased the minors around the house, shouting obscene phrases.

The plaintiffs also alleged that they were not compensated for their appearances on Piper's YouTube channel. Yet, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Smith denied being the plaintiffs' "employer."

As reported by NBC News, Smith had countersued the plaintiffs for $30 million last year, claiming that their mothers were trying to extort her. Smith dropped the lawsuit before the mothers could respond.

Ashley Anne-Rock Smith, mother to two of the plaintiffs, recently noted to NBC News, "I just want peace back with my kids."

“I want all predators who hurt young kids to be brought to justice,” she continued. “I also hope we move the needle on these platforms that are allowing this.”
