Teen Choice Awards 2018: Lauren Jauregui Wore a Bra to Accept Her Award

While all the fashion was certainly showstopping at Sunday night’s 2018 Teen Choice Awards, it was Lauren Jauregui who had us talking when she headed up to the Los Angeles stage to accept an award alongside Olivia Holt wearing nothing but lingerie. Lauren rocked a white lace underwire bra styled atop a pair of shimmery white pants and matching tunic top, unbuttoned completely to reveal her lingerie underneath.

Lauren, perhaps, took a page out of Dua Lipa’s playbook for this outfit as she's seen regularly rocking an actual lace underwire bra and some sort of track pant look, giving a whole new meaning to the boudoir-inspired trend. While we’re used to seeing everyday slip dresses that throw a nod to a retro nightgown, and lace bralettes that are more bustier tops than they are actual bras, it’s rare to see the balconette style we most often slip into underneath our clothing as the main attraction for their look. And you have to admit, it does look super chic.

Lauren and Olivia were on stage to accept the award for Choice Female Hottie which is the very award that Bella Thorne called out when she tweeted just two weeks ago about her choice to boycott the event. She wrote, “A vote for the hottest is so gross. How about smartest? Or a charity category? How about we hype people up for doing good things not being hot.”
