Ted Lasso And Jeni's Ice Cream Team Up For 'Biscuits With The Boss' Flavor

Ted Lasso fans rejoice: We are officially two weeks out from the release of Season 3 the beloved Jason Sudeikis-led soccer series, debuting March 15 on Apple TV+. If you’re a loyal fan of Lasso, an unabashedly saccharine show, you might be pleased to know that you won’t need wait until March 15 to get a dose of sweetness. Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to stock up Ted Lasso-inspired pints of Jeni’s ice cream to tide them over until “game day.”

Yes, you read that correctly: The beloved Ohio-born ice cream brand has joined forces with Ted Lasso to release a “Biscuits with the Boss”-flavored ice cream, based on coach Ted Lasso’s (Sudeikis) running tradition of bringing biscuits to meetings with AFC Richmond owner Rebbeca Welton (Hannah Waddingham). According to the Jeni’s site, the ice cream will consist of “crumbly shortbread cookies in buttery sweet cream.” Jeni’s says that the flavor will be available on March 2 at noon EST online and in stores nationwide.

Jeni’s first hinted at the launch on Valentine’s Day, posting an AFC Richmond-inspired scarf on Instagram that read, “ICE CREAM IS LIFE.” Of course, fans immediately spotted to reference to Ted Lasso character Dani Rojas’s memorable line, “Football is life.”

“ARE WE GETTING THE TED LASSO ICE CREAM???????? IS THIS WHAT THIS MEANS? Football/Ice Cream is life???? BELIEVE it?” commented one user. “if i’m right about it being biscuit flavored i’m gonna scream,” wrote another.”

Well, I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ted Lasso ice cream. And, of course, so does Ted Lasso himself, who once quipped, "Ice cream is the best. It's kinda like seeing Billy Joel perform live. Never disappoints."
