Unicorn- and mermaid-themed foods may be out, but rainbow food is forever. ROYBGP will always be in style - therefore, these waffles are timeless. You'll be making them weekend after weekend after weekend after weekend. They're too pretty and fun to make not to.

1. Whip together some waffle batter. For this recipe, we upgraded Bisquick with a touch of sugar and a splash of vanilla.

2. Separate the batter into six bowls - one for every color of the rainbow. You don't need to divide them totally evenly. In fact, you'll want the most red and the least amount of purple. Once the food coloring is thoroughly mixed in, transfer dyed batters into piping bags (or large ziploc bags).

3. Starting on the perimeter with red, pipe concentric circles with the batter onto a hot waffle iron.

4. Cook until waffles are just set. You don't want them too golden and crispy, otherwise your colors will look a bit faded. (They'll still taste excellent though!)
