Taylor Swift's Custom Chiefs Jacket: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Its Creation

Taylor Swift attended her 10th NFL game of the season on Jan. 13—and once again, her game-day outfit was immaculate, thanks in part to her custom Chiefs jacket.

On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Miami Dolphins in round one of the NFL playoffs. The "Lover" songstress showed up to support her tight end boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at Arrowhead Stadium. Amid frigid temperatures, Swift kept warm in Kelce's private suite thanks to her spirited outerwear.

Kristin Juszczyk—owner of Designs by Kristin and wife to 49ers player Kylie Juszczyk—took to Instagram on game day to offer a behind-the-scenes look at creating Swift's custom jacket. Juszczyk also made a matching coat for fellow Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes.

"An honor of a lifetime!!!!!" the Bay-Area designer captioned her post. "Thank you @taylorswift & @brittanylynne ❤️❤️❤️❤️."

In the video, Juszczyk holds up Chiefs jerseys with "Mahomes" and "Kelce" on the back before showing a close-up of her scissors. The next scene shows her customizing Nike Chiefs jackets with a sewing machine, finishing off the creations with her name on the inside tag.

Swift's jacket features the lettering, "Chiefs Kingdom" on the bottom right, along with "Kelce" and "87" on the right sleeve and "87" on the center of the coat and left sleeve, too. Meanwhile, Mahomes' jacket reads "Patrick," "Sterling" and "Bronze" on the bottom right side and "Mahomes" and "15" on both sleeves.

Based on the comments, Juszczyk's customized jackets were a definite hit. Mahomes commented, "We love you and are so thankful ❤️🙏🏻."

Swift's ex (and current friend) Taylor Lautner chimed in with, "Let’s goooooo," following up with the call for action, writing, "@nfl get this girl licensing stat."

Meanwhile, the official NFL account wrote, "killed it 🙌."

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles (whose husband is Green Bay Packers player Jonathan Owens) wrote, "wahoo!!!! so proud of you❤️."

Sports commentator Erin Andrews commented, "So awesome!!!"

As Juszczyk told KRON4 News reporter Kate Rooney, the designer originally made a custom puffer coat for just Mahomes—but she opted to "shoot her shot" by creating a similar jacket for Swift. She hoped Mahomes would give it to the pop superstar, and was thrilled to see Swift wearing it at the Chiefs-Dolphins game.

Clearly, the gamble was well worth the result!
