Stella McCartney, the celebrity-loved brand known for its cruelty-free approach to high fashion, has several handbag styles on sale at Nordstrom we’re running to add to our carts — including two silhouettes we’ve seen on the arms of Taylor Swift. For its Memorial Day Sale, Nordstrom has marked down the Frayme Bucket Bag and several styles of the iconic Falabella handbag.

At 40 percent off, the Frayme handbag is perfectly sized for your essentials: sunglasses, a wallet, keys, headphones, and chapstick. With two straps — one to be worn on the shoulder and the other to carry on the crook of your arm — it allows for hands-free use. Last November, Swift was seen with a gaggle of her famous friends carrying the embossed black crocodile iteration of the bucket bag. Although her colorway isn’t on sale, the handbag is available for 40 percent off in a chic chocolate brown shade as well as crisp, easy-to-style white colorway.
Another Swift-approved style that’s on sale is the tried-and-true Falabella bag, a favorite since its debut in 2009. Roomy, spacious, and perfect for the girl on the go, the Falabellas on sale run the gamut from clutches to the classic foldover tote.
This writer has a large striped canvas Falabella bag — it’s the ideal everyday bag to carry so much in and still feel stylish. I’m able to throw everything I need in for a long work day, or a big travel day, and still have space. The chain can make it a little heavier than a leather strap, but I feel like that hardware adds a touch of sophistication to the bag overall. I’m always getting compliments on the bag whether I’m at the pool or commuting. It can be worn effortlessly with high-waisted trousers to the office, or with cutoffs and a striped tee for errands, but I also think it’d look cool with romantic-inspired pieces like summer dresses.
