On Saturday night, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce left Arrowhead Stadium hand-in-hand after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins. Swift had spent the night bundled up in the VIP box with Kelce's mom, Donna, wearing a warm Chiefs puffer jacket with his jersey number across the back.

The pair headed out walking just behind Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, who has become Swift's good friend since her relationship with Kelce began.

The Eras Tour star made her first appearance at the stadium in September, which fans initially perceived as their first date—Swift has clarified since that they had started dating in July before deciding to go public. In her profiled Time magazine in December, after being named “Person of the Year,” she said they spent “a significant amount of time” getting to know one another before sharing their relationship with the world.

“I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game,” she joked. “We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date.”

She went on to explain how showing up for games is important to her, because it's about support in the relationship.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift explained. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

She continued, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads...Football is awesome, it turns out. I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
