Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are America's "Royal Couple," According to Jenna Bush Hager

It seems as if the entire world has thoughts and feelings on the coupling of Taylor Swift, pop star, and Travis Kelce, football player—including Today show host, and former first daughter, Jenna Bush Hager.

Yesterday, Bush Hager interviewed Erin Andrews, a sportscaster who works with Kelce, and whose jacket Swift was wearing to the Kansas City Chiefs game last week. On Andrews's podcast in August, after hearing Kelce had tried to give his phone number to the superstar at her Eras Tour show in Kansas City, she joked to Swift, "Please try our friend Travis. He's fantastic!" Kelce later commented on that clip, "I owe you big time," leading many to deem Andrews as matchmaker between Swift as Kelce. As Andrews told Bush Hager and her co-host Hoda Kotb on Today, "I'm the new Bumble!"

As they all continued chatting about the new coupling of Swift and Kelce, Andrews said, "America needs this." To which Bush Hager replied, "We do! It's our royal couple!" Bush Hager said to Andrews. Swift and Kelce, she said at another point, are "America's couple." This weekend, the two hard-launched in New York City, attending Saturday Night Live's afterparty and stepping out to dinner in the West Village.
