Taylor Swift re-released one of her most iconic albums ever, Speak Now, and we've mentally prepared ourselves to go through the emotions of listening all over again.

First released in 2010, Speak Now was Taylor's third studio album and it features some well-loved tracks like 'Enchanted', 'Back To December', 'Dear John' and more. Now, Taylor's version of the record has even more songs for us to sing (and cry) along to, including ones featuring Paramore's Haley Williams and Fall Out Boy. Seriously, it's like we've been transported back ten years!

But, as we can't help but wonder with lots of Taylor's tracks, who are all of those love and heartbreak songs about? Well, you're in luck as we've done some digging and found out exactly who some of the songs from Speak Now are about. You're welcome, Swifties!

Is 'Back To December' about Taylor Lautner?

The ultimate sad girl song for those who let a good one get away, Taylor reportedly wrote 'Back To December' about none other than Twilight heartthrob, Taylor Lautner.

The pair dated briefly dated in 2009 after meeting on the set of the movie Valentine's Day, but their short relationship was allegedly memorialized through lyrics like "I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile."

Now, all these years on, Taylor (Lautner, we mean) is married, and the funniest part is that his wife, Taylor Dome (so many Taylors, we can't keep up!) is a major Swiftie, and joked on The Viall Files podcast that 'Back To December' is her favorite song. We stan!

Plus, before the album's release, Mr. Lautner posted a hilarious TikTok captioned 'praying for John' AKA John Mayer, who some of the album's tracks are reportedly about.

This track made the rounds on TikTok recently, causing us to all revert back to our teenage selves and sing along at the top of our lungs to lyrics like "please don't be in love with someone else." The song is allegedly about Owl City's Adam Young—he sung 'Fireflies', such a BOP.

"I wrote 'Enchanted' about a guy who I was enchanted to meet, obviously," Taylor said, report PopBuzz. "He was somebody that I had talked to a couple of times on email, and then I was in New York and went to meet him. I remember just the whole way home thinking, 'I hope he's not in love with somebody.'"

In Speak Now’s album lyric booklet, Taylor even capitalized the letters A-D-A-M, appearing to confirm that the song was about him. He even responded with his own version of the song featuring lyrics like "Taylor, I was enchanted to meet you too."

But, she never responded. Awkward.

Is 'Dear John' about John Mayer?

Now, the name here pretty much gives it away but Taylor reportedly wrote the song 'Dear John' about John Mayer.

Taylor and John dated between 2009 and 2010, with him joining on her on stage to perform throughout her Fearless tour. She was 19 and he was 32 at the time, and the lyrics to the track include "Dear John, I see it all now it was wrong. Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so? I should've known."

After the song was released, he told Rolling Stone that it made him "feel terrible". "It was a really lousy thing to do," he said. "I never got an email. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off guard."

But, ahead of the re-release and before performing the song at one of her shows, Taylor said, "I'm not putting this album out so that you feel the need to defend me on the Internet against someone you think I might have written a song about 14 million years ago."

She ended her speech by saying she doesn't care anymore, everyone's grown up and is all good. We love a mature queen!

Is 'The Story Of Us' about John Mayer?

During a previous interview with USA Today, Taylor said that 'Dear John' and 'The Story of Us' are about the same person, insinuating that the latter is also about John Mayer.

"'The Story of Us' is about running into someone I had been in a relationship with at an awards show, and we were seated a few seats away from each other," she said. "I just wanted to say to him, 'Is this killing you? Because it's killing me.' But I didn't. Because I couldn't. Because we both had these silent shields up.”

The song is rumored to be about them attending the 2010 CMT Awards, where they sat near each other and she seemingly confirmed the theory as she wrote “CMT Awards” as the hidden message in the liner notes.

Is 'Last Kiss' about Joe Jonas?

We all remember that iconic Ellen interview where Taylor called out Joe Jonas for breaking up with her over a 25-second phone call, right? So messy, we love it.

Taylor wrote the song 'Forever and Always' after her breakup with Joe which was on the Fearless album, so, when the words "forever and always" appeared as the hidden message in the Speak Now liner notes for 'Last Kiss', fans had a pretty good idea who this song was about.

But, Taylor and Joe are on good terms now and his ex-wife, Sophie Turner, is one of the biggest Swifties out there!

Is 'When Emma Falls In Love' about Emma Stone?

Here's a curveball. One of the new "from the vault" songs on Taylor's re-recorded Speak Now is called 'When Emma Falls In Love', and some fans think it might be about Emma Stone.

Why? Well, it was thought to be written between 2008 to 2010—the years when Emma and Taylor were first photographed hanging out on red carpets and so on. Plus, some of the lyrics seem to hint at Emma's personality. First, "little miss sunshine", which could link to one of the most famous scenes in her film Easy A, when she's singing along to Natasha Bedingfield's iconic hit, 'Pocketful of Sunshine'.

Fans also think another of the lyrics, "When Emma falls in love, she calls up her mom" links to her close relationship with her mum, something which has been well publicized.

Hmm. While none of that is proof in itself, we've enjoyed the speculation.
