Taylor Swift Is ‘Smitten’ With Travis Kelce but ‘Not Looking for Anything Serious’ Yet

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship is continuing to build both privately and publicly, with the singer now rumored to attend Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game this Sunday against the New York Jets at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. The first PDA photo of Swift and Kelce also came out on TMZ yesterday. Swift appears with her arms around Kelce’s neck in a shot from the post-game party she attended last Sunday.
Us Weekly learned from multiple sources earlier this week that Swift really does like Kelce. It just may not be the right time for a serious relationship to bud given her tour beginning again in November and Kelce’s own busy career during NFL season.
“They have been on a few dates, and Taylor is smitten with him,” a source told the outlet, noting they met through a mutual friend. “It is not serious, and Taylor is having fun right now.”
Swift’s career remains her top priority: “[She’s] working hard right now and not looking for anything serious,” the source said, noting her tour schedule would specifically make a longterm romance difficult. “But anything is possible. They’re getting closer and closer every day.”
Us’ recent report echoes People’s. One source told People on September 26 that Kelce and Swift’s romance is in the “super, super early days.” That source added of their future, “They’re just hanging out, and there’s no pressure.”
A day before, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Swift and Kelce are just having a good time, but there is potential in Kelce being a good match for Swift.
“Travis and Taylor have a lot in common and they are having a great time getting to know each other,” the source said. “They have similar values. She likes that he pursued her and it has been easy and exciting for both of them.”
Currently, “Taylor is enjoying some time off from touring and it’s been fun hanging out with Travis during this break. Taylor wants a guy that’s into his career, does his own thing, but is also supportive and understands her, and Travis fits those qualities.”
