Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez Make a Rare Public Show of Their Friendship on Instagram
It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift together, but that doesn’t mean their friendship has wavered. Gomez, like most of the world, is a fan of Swift’s new album Lover and she shared her praise over her friend’s latest release with her 156 million followers.
“You’re just.. unreal dude,” she shared on her Instagram stories, drawing a pink heart over the album’s title track.
Swift reposted the photo adding, “I LOVE YOU SELENA.”
Gomez isn’t the only person showing love for Lover on Instagram. Last weekend, Demi Lovato shared her approval of the new album on Instagram writing, “Life’s too short for women to not support other women. Especially when women release great music. Great job @taylorswift.”
Lovato and Swift hasn’t always had the best relationship, most recently due to Swift’s ongoing feud with Scooter Braun, who signed Lovato to his management company earlier this year. Shortly after Swift published her letter detailing Braun’s purchase of her masters, Lovato came to her manager’s defense.
“I have dealt with bad people in the industry and Scooter is not one of them. He’s a good man,” she wrote. “Personally, I’m grateful he came into my life when he did. Please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them. There’s enough hate in this world as it is.”
The two seem to have quickly put that behind them, however. Swift reposted Lovato’s story and added, “This is so awesome & put the biggest smile on my face. Thank you @ddlovato.”
