While Taylor Swift may be super candid in her song lyrics, the 32-year-old singer-songwriter has kept her relationship with actor Joe Alwyn relatively private, making a few rare appearances alongside the Conversations with Friends star over the past few years. Due to the private nature of their relationship, a series of reports back in March led fans to believe that the pair had secretly gotten engaged, however, a new appearance from the couple seems to have dismissed those rumors.

Thanks to a series of shots shared by The Daily Mail (which you can view here), Swift and Alwyn were seen together in London grabbing a couple of iced coffees and taking a stroll while wearing matching white and blue outfits. However, as the publication pointed out, there seemed to be no engagement ring on Swift's finger.

Swift and Alwyn have been dating since 2016, potentially having met at the Met Gala that year, according to lyrics in Swift's Reputation song, “Dress.” Then, just last year, it was reported that the two had moved into a Primrose Hill house together north of London.

Back in March, Life & Style magazine, as well as other sources like The Sun , confirmed that the couple were secretly engaged, but they had only told their close friends about the exciting news. It was believed that the proposal took place in January 2022, when the couple spent a long weekend together at Cornwall.

Of course, neither Swift nor Alwyn have publicly commented on the status of their relationship, so it could be that they're just trying to keep the details of their engagement hush hush.

We guess we'll have to wait to find out for sure.
