Taylor Swift Learned Falconry at This Big Sur Resort

Taylor Swift got up-close with falcons during a falconry class at California's Ventana resort.

Taylor Swift recently stopped by Big Sur to get up-close with a two-legged friend, taking part in a falconry experience at the Ventana resort.

The singer was spotted by fans who were also taking part in the falconry package, photos of which popped up on social media this week. In the images, Swift is seen posing with fans, and with one of the falcons later taking a seat on her arm.

The five-star Ventana resort where Swift spent time with falcons has a total of 160 acres of forest along California’s Pacific coast.

The resort's falconry experience connects guests with master falconer Antonio Balestreri, who takes guests through hawks and falcon flight demonstrations and meet-and-greets. People who buy the package learn how falcons fly, learn how to handle them and interact with the birds.

Guests can also book a variety of outdoor private or group experiences like “hawk walks," where you take short hikes with the birds, or wedding packages where a hawk will drop off your ring during the ceremony.

Some of Ventana's other experiences include a photography hike, where you can explore the area’s rolling hills and jagged coastline and learn how to capture these landscapes on camera, or a Jack Kerouac experience that takes you on a driving tour over the Old Coast Road.

Swift is no stranger to California’s scenery, with her Beverly Hills four-bedroom estate designated as a Beverly Hills city historic landmark last year thanks to features that include its tennis court, swimming pool, patio, and terraces dating back to the 1930s.
