Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Secretly Spent Their New Year's Eve in the Maldives
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn spent Christmas together in England and New Year's Eve together somewhere much hotter. While the two have not revealed anything about their holidays themselves, singer Matthew Crane revealed on Instagram exactly how they spent the last night of 2019: watching him sing in the Maldives.
"So I can now finally reveal who I sung to on New Year's Eve in the Maldives, probably the most notable Pop Star at the moment, the one and only @taylorswift and @joe.alwyn," he wrote on his Instagram. "They were both so friendly and kind to me when I performed, they even gave me a standing ovation and complimented on my voice. It was truly an honour and an experience that I will never forget. 🎤🎶"

Swift and Alwyn have purposely kept their three-year relationship private. Their most public date so far came when both Alwyn and Swift attended the Golden Globes this month and sat next to each other during the entire ceremony. They had several sweet moments together that cameras and audience members captured. At the CAA Golden Globes after party, things escalated, and the two were seen kissing multiple times at the public event.
On December 26, E! got details from a source about Alwyn and Swift's British Christmas. "Taylor spent the holidays in England with Joe," the source said. "She was there for the week leading up to Christmas and spent time with Joe's family and friends. Some of Taylor's family also flew in from Nashville to spend time with them. Taylor is still there and will stay on with Joe after her family leaves." Days later, Swift and Alwyn were in the Maldives, and no one knew for weeks. Sneaky, sneaky, but that's just them.
