Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Do His-and-Hers Tailoring

Ever since Taylor Swift and actor Joe Alwyn began dating in 2017, the couple has kept things relatively low-key: in fact, they’ve rarely been spotted in public together. Last night the couple broke their undercover streak however, with Alwyn joining the singer for Saturday Night Live after-party festivities in New York City.

Walking hand-in-hand, the two stars opted for sleek jackets that were both fall appropriate. Swift chose a boxy, oversized blazer in black, styling it with a black tee, crystal-embellished pants, and metallic Christian Louboutin flats. Alwyn, meanwhile, complemented her with a dapper black topcoat, wearing it with a cozy knit, streamlined jeans by J Brand, and lace-up boots. While their united looks weren’t as matchy-matchy as some couples moments we’ve seen as of late—Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have been particularly nailing it in that department—it’s clear that Swift and Alwyn are, at least, thinking about their cohesive fashion message. And their message is a put-together one, for sure.
