Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Had Two Rare Public Dates in One Day
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn did something they've never really done in their two-plus years of privately dating yesterday: be photographed out on two separate dates on the same day-the day before Swift's Reputation concert film came out on Netflix, notably. Perhaps to celebrate the release, Alwyn and Swift gave the world a look at their couple style and how they spent a rare day off together in New York City.
The two started the day out with a cuddly stroll to meet Alwyn's brothers for lunch. There, Swift wore a burnt orange coat with a red scarf and purple pants while Alwyn was in all blue.
That was nice, but the two dressed up a little more at night for their second papped date. Alwyn was in navy while Swift was in black, wearing her signature red lip and hair in a ponytail. She had big statement stud earrings on with a black mini dress and coat. It's a good New Year's Eve look on the day before New Year's Eve.

Swift has reportedly worn disguises in the past when she and Alwyn have wanted to go out but be more sneaky about it. Earlier this year, a source told E! the great lengths Swift took to travel to London undetected to see her boyfriend when they were peak private about their relationship. That routine involves 1) flying in via a private jet or private airfield, 2) having her passport checked while she is on board the plane so she never needs to go through any airport terminal, 3) after arriving in England, being driven "in a fairly nondescript blacked-out car" to Alwyn's neighborhood, North London’s Crouch End, 4) telling basically no one she’s going, 5) having dates at home with Alwyn and avoiding going out in popular public places.
Swift and Alwyn are, at least according to Us Weekly, very serious about each other. A source told the outlet shortly before Swift's birthday that an engagement was very much in their future. “Joe is very keen on proposing soon,” the source said. “But he wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special.” The source also implied Swift will say yes. “He’s her dream guy,” the source said. “Taylor’s going to be over the moon.”
