Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Gave a Subtle Update on How Their Relationship Is Going

Ever-secretive couple Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn haven't been seen out together much this summer. But those afraid that's a sign they broke up can rest assured: They're doing fine. The two gave a subtle public glimpse at their relationship on Instagram yesterday and how they remain supportive partners.

Alwyn and Swift both shared and liked each other's Instagrams for their new projects. Swift posted her Instagram first, sharing a teaser for her new song "The Archer" that came out. Swift released the lyrics video for it around 5:15 P.M.

Then Alwyn shared his post two hours later, posting a shot of himself in the upcoming film Harriet and a clip from the trailer that came out:

Swift liked his 'gram. (She likes all his Instagrams; he posts much more rarely than she does.)

Swift and Alwyn were last seen out in Paris this May. But the last big update on Swift and Alwyn came from People and Us Weekly way back in March. A source told People at the time that the two were still pretty happy with their decision to keep their romance as out of the public eye as possible.

“Keeping it private from the beginning really helped their relationship,” the source said. “They were able to get to know each other in peace.”

They really work together well, People's source added: “Their personalities are very compatible, and they’re respectful of each other’s careers."

Us Weekly, meanwhile, had a bigger scoop: that Alwyn wants to propose to her. "Joe wants to marry her and she wants to marry him," the source said. "He’s just waiting to find the perfect time to propose. He wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special."
