Kelly Clarkson has proved time and again that she's not afraid to cover the music of any artist. On the Kellyoke segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show, she has taken on the songs of Faith Hill, Cher, Dolly Parton and many more.

This week, she performed the song "Clean" from Taylor Swift's 1989 album, and, as expected, Taylor's fans had plenty of thoughts.

Kelly took the stage for a moving performance of the song, which Taylor has said talks about the time after heartbreak. And in true fashion, Taylor fans flooded the comments section with messages about the music.

  • "Taylor's writing +Kelly's vocals=perfect."

  • "Clarkson can sing just about anything! She and Y'all did a great job on this cover of Swift's song. I wouldn't expect anything less."

  • "The emotion Kelly put into this left me with tears streaming down my face. This was so powerful."

  • "Still hits different... literally cried while listening to this."

  • "I’m at a loss for words. This is amazing. I hope Kelly puts it on her kellyoke vol 2 cause I need this. Clean is my fav song by Taylor."

Kelly's fans won't have to wait long for new music from the star. Her long-awaited album, Chemistry, will be out on June 27. Kelly told Access Hollywood, "This is my most personal record, and it's not all bad. There is heartbreak in it, and there is sadness in it, definitely, but there's also the whole arc of a relationship." The first two songs, "Me" and "Mine," are out now.
