Taylor Swift has been silent since she published her Tumblr blog on Sunday. In it she explained that Scooter Braun buying her music catalog (and the masters of her first six albums) was her "worst case scenario" because of "incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years."

The response to her letter has been mixed. E! got some intel from a source about how she feels about the reaction to her letter-and the Team Scooter versus Team Taylor stance some celebrities have taken-while her lawyer made a statement last night. He clarified Swift never had the chance to buy back her masters. (Page Six published a report yesterday where "a source" suggested she somehow had months to.)

"[Big Machine Label's] Scott Borchetta never gave Taylor Swift an opportunity to purchase her masters, or the label, outright with a check in the way he is now apparently doing for others," Swift's attorney, Donald Passman, said in the statement.

E!, meanwhile, was told that Swift remains confident in her decision to go public about her disappointment in Braun acquiring her catalog with his purchase of Big Machine Label.

"No matter what Scooter or any of his people say, Taylor believes he did this to hurt her," its source said. "She wants the truth about him to come out. She was furious and she still is. She is so upset and has zero regrets about making this public."

The source also addressed how Swift feels about celebrities taking sides. "Taylor doesn't care if she has enemies and if all of Scooter's friends support him," the source said. "She knows what his intentions are and why he did this," the insider explained. "She has her friends who will stand by and support her, too. She feels very strongly about this, and standing up to Scooter." As powerful as Braun may be, "he doesn't scare her at all," E!'s source said.
