It seems that after their world tour and and a three month hiatus, Taylor Swift and her squad are back in full force. The singer has been spending some time in N.Y.C. lately, dining out and attending events with her crew of A-list actresses and supermodels in tow. And her Wednesday evening activities were no exception. Wearing her city-dweller’s all-black uniform, Taylor met up with her friends Dakota Johnson, Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse for a casual night out on the town.
The group headed out to dinner at the Waverly Inn in the West Village before attending a private Kings of Leon SiriusXM concert at (Le) Poisson Rouge. The band is fronted by Caleb Followill, the husband of yet another squad member, Lily Aldridge (with Victoria’s Secret Angel Martha Hunt below).
“Taylor showed up right as the concert was kicking off,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE. “She stood with Lorde most of the time, watching the show.”
For her return to the big city after some time off and spent in the studio, Taylor opted to keep her look minimal and all-black, which could pretty much define every New Yorkers entire wardrobe. The pop star wore black slash-sleeve t-shirt dress underneath a black Alpha Industries bomber jacket and finished off with Stuart Weitzman boots and an Elizabeth and James Cynnie shoulder bag.
Her group of girlfriends followed suit with their own laid back take on the classic jeans and a tee look. Cara perfectly nailed every street style trend, from her clear eyeglasses and oversized denim jacket, to her ripped jeans, western belt, and Puma Fenty creepers.
Dakota, on the other hand, went for a preppy Upper East Side vibe with a downtown cool twist, pairing a brown fur coat with a white T-shirt, light cropped jeans, polka dot socks and vintage Gucci loafers. And Suki Waterhouse rounded out the group in another white tee and pair of black jeans worn with a black hoodie, black overcoat, black knee-high boots, and a pink backpack.
