Taylor Swift Copied Kate Middleton on the Grammys Red Carpet

Looks like Taylor Swift took another page out of Kate Middleton’s fashion lookbook for her 2024 Grammys ensemble.

While walking the red carpet, Swift (who took home three awards on Sunday night) turned heads in a gorgeous black-and-white Schiaparelli strapless gown, which featured a striking thigh-high slit.

The “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, complemented the awards show look with black opera gloves. Per People, she also wore a Lorraine Schwartz vintage choker (that was set to midnight) and layered the show-stopping piece with an assortment of silver necklaces.

And if you’re thinking, Huh, this outfit looks familiar, then you’re not the only one. Many royally-obsessed fans noticed that Swift’s Grammys ensemble looked just like Kate Middleton’s from the 2023 BAFTAs.

At the event last year, Princess Catherine donned a beautiful white Alexander McQueen gown on the red carpet, which was a classic re-wear for the royal. (FYI, the mother of three wore the same gown to the BAFTAs back in 2019.)

Similar to Swift, the British royal paired the look with black opera gloves. Below, Catherine is smiling at photographers while walking the BAFTAs red carpet.

This is certainly not the first time Swift seemed to be influenced by Catherine’s fashion sense. Back in December 2023, the “Bad Blood” singer attended a Kansas City Chiefs game (her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s team) in Wisconsin. The record-breaking singer was captured on video wearing an all-black outfit with a red fuzzy coat and knee-high boots: a statement piece worn by Catherine around that time.
