Taylor Swift Would Like You to Consider Early Voting
Newly-political Taylor Swift doubled down on her efforts today to get out the vote this morning by reminding her followers that early voting exists, and you should consider doing it. Swift posted two shots-one of a patriotic pedicure and one of her looking serene (because she knows she's making a difference?)-and captioned them with a note about how quick and easy it is to vote ahead of election day.
"Something I wish I knew about when I was 18 and voting for the first time: ✨EARLY VOTING✨," she started. "It makes it so quick and easy to go and cast your vote before November 6. Early voting starts TODAY in Tennessee and goes to Nov 1 🇺🇸You can check out your state’s early voting dates at the link in my bio."
And Swift did indeed change the link in her bio to vote.org's early voting page, which you should check out if you want to cast your ballot ahead of time or are worried you may not make it to the polls on election day.
