Taylor Swift's "Miss Americana" Documentary Has a Netflix Release Date

"I counted days, I counted miles..."

Get ready, because Taylor Swift's new Netflix documentary, Taylor Swift: Miss Americana, is coming to the streaming platform extremely soon. The doc, directed by Lana Wilson (A Cure For Fear), follows Taylor in the recent, life-changing years of her personal and professional life.

Taylor's documentary is already scheduled to screen at the Sundance Film Festival happening in Park City, Utah, with its premiere taking place on the first night of the festival, January 23. But on Jan. 15, Taylor Swift herself shared the news on Instagram that the documentary is coming to the streaming service on Jan. 31.

The news actually leaked a little early, though it was unconfirmed until now. One eagle-eyed fan account (via iHeartRadio) had previously noticed Miss Americana will be coming straight to Netflix not long after it bows at Sundance. Instagram account @taylorswiftreplover captured a screenshot of Miss Americana's spot on Netflix, which gave general information about the documentary and also revealed the release date.

Now that the release date is on the horizon, we're getting excited for the new stories it will tell about Taylor and her long career. Per the description for Taylor Swift: Miss Americana, per Sundance's official site, Wilson's documentary will give "a multifaceted window into Swift, her creative process, and her singular experience of being one of the brightest lights on the world’s global stage. Showcasing Swift’s trademark vulnerability and her fierce intelligence and wit, Wilson captures moments both tender and exhilarating as the superstar embarks on the latest chapter of her already extraordinary career."

Until then, we'll be over here rewatching the Reputation concert experience on Netflix.
