Taylor Swift

Since the Eras Tour kicked off in March 2023, Taylor Swift has performed rain or shine—but on Friday, Nov. 10, the international pop star was finally forced to postpone one of her shows.

"I love a rain show but I'm never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers," Swift wrote on her Instagram Story shortly before 3 p.m. ET. "We've rescheduled tonight's Buenos Aires show for Sunday due to the weather being truly so chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert."

Swift's message ended on a high note: "Good news is I get to stay in Argentina longer!"

Although fans were likely disappointed about the weather-related postponement, at least they don't have to wait too much longer to see Swift.

Back in May, Swift performed during a full-on downpour at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., during which she declared it was the “rainiest rain show that ever rain showed, ever, ever, ever.” The "Shake It Off" singer, her performers and concert-goers were all drenched—but Swift impressively danced and sang for her entire three-plus-hour set.

In July, Swift's Cincinnati, Ohio, concert at Paycor Stadium (day two) was moved up one hour due to the threat of severe weather. Swifties were rewarded that day for their flexibility with three surprise songs instead of the usual two.

So who knows? Perhaps on Sunday, the Buenos Aires concert-goers will be treated similarly for waiting two extra days to see Swift perform. Let's hope the weather cooperates for them this time around!
