Taylor Swift Accidentally Brought Her Parents Clubbing & The Video Is Too Funny

It’s easy to get carried away when good things happen — you know, like winning Album of the Year at the Grammys, performing four sold-out shows in Tokyo, and cheering on your boyfriend as he wins his third Super Bowl (all in one week, no less!). So, you can’t really blame Taylor Swift for doing an embarrassing thing this weekend. In the words of Hannah Montana: “Everybody makes mistakes; everybody has those days!”

The “Karma” singer posted about her cringe-worthy moment on TikTok, and we can’t stop laughing. The video begins with Kelce, hanging out at a nightclub in Las Vegas after the Chiefs beat the 49ers at the Super Bowl on Sunday night. “It’s a friends and family party they said,” she wrote over the clip, where Kelce sticks his tongue out with rap music playing (loudly!) in the background.

Clubbing with the ‘Rents

Then, Swift pans the camera to show her parents, Scott Swift and Andrea Swift. Her dad takes a drink under red-tinted lights, and her mom smiles at the camera — but you can tell the club scene is not exactly their vibe. “Bring your parents they said,” she wrote, before turning the camera to show her face. Swift bites her lip and makes the awkward face, looking so uncomfortable. There’s nothing like parents hanging out with you to kill your vibe! It’s like watching Saltburn with Mom and Dad — just a level of cringe that’s indescribable.

“Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life,” she captioned the funny video. (This reads less as advice and more as please, someone else do this so I’m not the only one. We feel your pain, girl!)

Flavor Flav commented, “Mom + Papa Swift for the real win 👏🏾.” Someone else wrote, “They said: we’re in the club doin idk what.”

“I don’t know who’s reaction is funnier your moms, your dad just drinking his beer or yours 😂💀,” someone else wrote.

This isn’t the first time Swift has shared awkward moments with her parents. In December, the “Cruel Summer” singer brought her dad to a Chiefs game. Things were going fine, until Mr. Swift decided to pass out some of his daughter’s birthday cake to people in a neighboring box. E! News shared a video of Scott setting a round cake down on a counter and gesturing to the nearby people to help themselves, before zooming in on Swift’s embarrassed smile.

Over the summer, the Grammy winner shared another video, this time behind the scenes at one of her Eras Tour concerts. The video is set to “Ridin’” by Chamillionaire, as Scott rides around on a Segway in his khaki pants and polo shirt, following Swift and her friends on a golf cart. “my dads on his segway sh*t again,” she captioned the cute video.

It just goes to show, it doesn’t matter how old you are — or how famous you are — nobody is immune to being embarrassed by their parents.
