Taylor and JP’s Relationship Took a Sudden Turn on 'Love Is Blind'

For all of the love triangles, plot twists, and break ups that occur on Love Is Blind, there are also a number of drama-free love stories that happen each year. From Lauren and Cameron on Season 1 to Tiffany and Brett last season, the Netflix series has seen some sweet connections over the years.
For the recently released Season 5, it seemed like one of the most pleasant connections was Taylor and JP. The two clicked from day one, neither of them were interested in anyone else, and they never had any major arguments.
But while their path in the pods was relatively easy, after getting engaged and heading out of the pods, their relationship took a turn. Here’s the shocking argument that plagued the couple just days after getting engaged, and their relationship status now.
Are Taylor and JP From Love Is Blind Still Together?
Taylor and JP were actually the first couple from Love is Blind Season 5 to get engaged. They easily bonded over their similar sense of humor and outlooks in life, and their personalities complemented each other, as Taylor is a bit more gregarious than the quiet JP.
Their differences became even more apparent when they went on the couples’ vacation, and Taylor became frustrated with how little JP was talking, as she was the one carrying all of their conversations. They both said they would try harder to regain the connection they had in the pods, but on the second to last night before the vacation was over they had an explosive argument… about makeup.
After Taylor pressed JP to explain why he was behaving so differently now that they were together, he said that he felt like her appearance had altered how he felt about her. “I understand you tried to present yourself, and look as best you could, but I feel like if you would’ve presented yourself like this, without any makeup, it would have been better…It felt like you were fake,” JP said.
Taylor was understandably incredulous and upset with this answer, and JP went on to cruelly comment on her “caked up” face and fake eyelashes before Taylor decided to sleep elsewhere for the night. The next day, Taylor decided she was done with the relationship, and she handed her engagement ring back to JP, who seemed sheepish and aware of how unreasonable he’d been.
Unfortunately, Taylor didn’t appear in any more of the episodes for this week, including the cast meetup. The third batch of Love Is Blind episodes will premiere next week on Friday, so stay tuned to see just what happens with Taylor, JP, and the rest of the cast.
