Is Taylor's New Song About Her Boyfriend?
Although Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" added fuel to her feuds with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and probably Katy Perry, her latest single takes on a much more romantic note. The singer's new song "Gorgeous" is a sweet, flirtatious track, and fans think it's about her relatively-new beau, British actor Joe Alwyn. The giveaways are all in the lyrics.
She sings in the first verse: "And I got a boyfriend, he's older than us / ;He's in the club doing I don't know what."
This could be a reference to her former beau, Tom Hiddleston, who's 36 years old. Swift is 27 and Alwyn is 26. Though she and Hiddleston broke up in September 2016, she and Alwyn apparently sparked their romance the following month. That probably means she met the actor while she was still dating Hiddleston; so did she just reveal her feelings for him started then?
Another clue lies in the second pre-chorus, where she sings: "Ocean blue eyes looking in mine / I feel like I might sink and drown and die."
