Tavi Gevinson, Fashion Blogger & Feminist

At age 11, Tavi Gevinson shocked the fashion world when her blog, Style Rookie, became one of the most popular online style guides. At 15, Gevinson then shifted her focus to pop culture in feminism as the founder and editor-in-chief of Rookie Magazine , an online publication aimed at teenagers tackling the political and cultural issues of the day. The same year she started Rookie, Gevinson appeared on Forbes 30 Under 30 Media List in 2011 and again in 2012. By 2014, Gevinson was named one of TIME’s “The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014.” After a long successful run, Gevinson shut down Rookie Magazine in 2018 to pursue other career interests.
