This donut flavor first came out years ago, along with the Pumpkin Spice variety. We never know for certain whether a brand is going to bring back a seasonal offering, but thankfully, Tastekake has brought the Caramel Apple Mini Donuts, as spotted by Instagram account @rednecksnackandfood.
The Fall Edition mini donuts combine the flavors of tart apple with sweet caramel, so you get a soft bite that is reminiscent of an actual caramel apple. Is anyone else tempted to put them on a plate and pass them off as homemade? Hey, sometimes we don’t have time to bake a treat ourselves!
In addition to the donuts, Tastykake makes a Glazed Caramel Apple Pie. They’re individually wrapped, so you can grab one when your sweet tooth is calling for a fall-inspired snack.
