Tasty Tuesday: Valley food dude offering meal prep delivery service
CLOVIS, Calif. (KGPE) — Dozens of local chefs, businesses, and foodies use the Clovis Culinary Center to serve up success.
Every week in May, CBS47 Morning Anchor Mederios Babb introduces us to a new business as a part of our Tasty Tuesday segment. The goal is to showcase local businesses while providing tasty treats and tips for viewers at home.
Valley Food Dude is a food prep company service started by Jason Quigley.
“So, we do scratch-cook meal prep,” said Quigley. “We deliver them all over Fresno and Clovis Area.”
Quigley started the business around five years ago after he lost his job.
“I had worked for different companies across the country and actually lost my job,” said Quigley. “So, my wife was like we can’t keep doing this, you need to start your own businesses, you have done this forever and so we started our own business and this was right before the pandemic.”
Quigley started as a dishwasher at the age of 18. Quickly he worked his way up the totem pole, from prep work to lead line cooking and eventually manager.
“I really had a passion for it,” said Quigley. “This what I am going to do. This is what I love.”
Quigley managed restaurants at hotels all over the country.
