A taste of Greece along Bayou St. John for New Orleans Greek Fest

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Gates are now open for the 49th annual New Orleans Greek Festival along Bayou St. John and on the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral grounds. WGNO’s Kenny Lopez shows us how this fun fest attracts visitors all wanting a taste of Greek culture.

“It is important to us because our culture is near and dear to our hearts. It is quite emotional to see that we all come together for a common reason, just letting people come and have fun and experience Greece on the Bayou,” said Alexandra Megilligan with the New Orleans Festival Committee.
