Target's Selling 'Perfect' $1 Travel Hangers and Shoppers Can't Get Enough of Them

Walking into Target in and of itself is a fun outing. But you always have to stop in Bullseye’s Playground, AKA the under-$5 section at the front of every Target location, and make it a full-on party. While they do have some toys and other “frivolous” items, they also have a lot of helpful household products like speakers, chargers, home decor and more. The items switch out every several weeks or monthly, depending on the season, and one of the newest products in Target’s $5 section is a travel hanger that shoppers are calling a game-changer for travelers or anyone who needs a good clothing car hack.
A popular Target shopping Instagram account, Target Holler, posted a Reel about the travel hangers on May 8 and called it one of the “things you didn’t know you needed from Target.” The travel hangers come in a pack of two and are $1. There might be other colors, but the one they bought was a pretty pastel purple, which is perfect for spring. The hanger looks like a funky little contraption at first when folded up, but it folds out into a decent-sized hanger. Target Holler showed how they used one to hang up a blazer in their car so that it didn’t wrinkle in transit.
“Perfect to keep in your car to keep clothes organized and wrinkle-free while traveling or on the go!” @targetholler wrote in the caption of their Reel.
Travel hangers are nothing new, but it’s also not something you might think of buying especially if you’re not a frequent traveler. And even if you are, hotels usually have hangers, so it might not be something you’d invest in (as Target Holler pointed out). But their comments show that these little hangers are mighty useful no matter who you are.
"I passed these so many times but you gave me the idea to go grab them for swimsuits over the summer when we're traveling to air dry!" one user commented with a helpful hack you can use these travel hangers for. Another wrote that they were “so cute” and and another wrote how much they loved foldable travel hangers along with other travel items like flat glass cases and cup holder organizers.

As we stated before, these types of foldable travel hangers are nothing new and you can purchase them elsewhere if you can’t make it to Target before they sell out (or if your Target’s Bullseye’s Playground doesn’t carry them). Walmart’s website has a 20-pack of Foldable Portable Travel Hangers by the brand NeveLance for $9.99 in pastel or fun colors.

Amazon, of course, also has travel hangers, like Trubetter Store’s 10-pack of Travel Hangers in five fun pastel colors (including a purple nearly identical to Target’s). They’re $9.59 on Amazon and have 4.6k reviews and a 4.7-star rating.
If you find yourself perusing Bullseye’s Playground soon, their nifty $1 travel hangers seem like quite the deal on an item that seems to prove useful in the long run. And if you like this idea but can’t get one from Target, both Walmart and Amazon have your back when it comes to inexpensive travel items under $10.
