Target shoppers are comparing the store's newest scent to Sol de Janeiro — and it's only $15

Fine'ry Pistachio Please
This sweet scent will instantly transport you to warmer summer days, fans say. (Target)

A good fragrance can make you feel your best, or at least more confident. Sometimes it can even transport you to a happy memory or favorite place. Take Sol de Janeiro's Cheirosa 62, for example. People love the viral scent because with notes of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla, it reminds them of eating ice cream on the beach. An 8-ounce bottle of the body mist retails for nearly $40 — a steep price for a little nostalgia in a bottle. But it's Target to the rescue, of course: Shoppers say the retailer is selling a similar scent for only $15.

To get the most out of this scent, mist your damp skin fresh out of the shower.

Back in January 2023, Fine'ry perfumes launched exclusively in Target stores and online. Shoppers said many of the scents were reminiscent of luxury perfumes from brands including Tom Ford, Chanel, Prada and YSL. So it's no surprise that fans of its newest fragrance, Pistachio Please, are comparing it to Sol de Janeiro.

According to Target, Pistachio Please has notes of pistachio milk, vanilla and tonka bean. It comes in a 5-ounce body mist and a 2-ounce perfume, both in vivid green bottles that are pretty enough to keep out on your vanity.

If you want a stronger, longer-lasting fragrance, go for the perfume, which is more concentrated than the body mist.

"This is definitely a dupe of Cheirosa ‘62, but, frankly, I like this better!" wrote one reviewer. "The fresh pistachio note stays and the tonka and cream evolves into an almost salty caramel aroma on my skin. I can’t speak to the staying power yet but it seems very promising. A good buy!"

"Cannot wait to wear this religiously in summer," wrote another. "Definitely a dupe for Sol de Janeiro 62, but without the subtle florals. This one is nuttier and creamier, which makes them both worth it to me. Longevity is pretty good, sillage is OK, but I think this will be better in the heat. For the price, this is worth it."

Buy one version or pair them together for the strongest, longest-lasting fragrance. Then, revel in the sweet scent — sunny summer days aren't too far ahead, after all.

This one has a smokier vanilla scent with notes of Madagascar vanilla, cacao wood and smoked vetiver. Shoppers compare it to Eilish by Billie Eilish.
