Target Is Selling A Mini Birthday Cake Pastry That’s A Cross Between A Croissant And Donut

It’s a beautiful thing when breakfast foods taste more like dessert. We deserve to treat ourselves, right? The next time you go on a Target run, aka probably tomorrow, you might want to take a stroll through the bakery section.

Thanks to Instagram account @dadbodsnacks, we know that the retailer is stocked with a 6-count container of Mini Vanilla Dipped Donut Croissants! Although they’re technically not described as birthday cake-flavored, the ingredients certainly make it seem that way. The croissant is flavored with sweet vanilla, and it’s topped with a donut glaze and rainbow sprinkles. So if you love a glazed donut, you’ll be all over this croissant.

That’s not all though! Target also has Mini Chocolate Croissants that are made with real chocolate. It looks like the little croissants are drizzled with chocolate and topped with a touch of powdered sugar. But if you want to go the savory route, there are Mini Everything Bagel Croissants! According to the packaging, they’re made with real cream cheese and everything bagel topping blend. We’re not sure if that means the croissants are stuffed with cream cheese, but we’re willing to take one for the team to find out.

It’s suggest that you heat up the chocolate and everything bagel croissants, so it’s not a bad idea to bring a pack or two to work for the week. Just pop them in the microwave and enjoy!

It’s not clear how long the donut-croissants or other croissants have been around for, but we’re hoping they stick around for a while. Your best bet is to get to Target’s bakery section soon just in case. Don’t freak out if you can’t find it, since inventory can vary between locations. Plus, once the word gets out about these, we don’t doubt that they’ll be flying off shelves!
