Target Is Selling $30 Shoes That Look Just Like Birkenstocks That Cost 5x More, but They're 'Much More Comfortable'

Target's shoe section continues to never disappoint. Certain shoe styles are classic for a reason. Take the slip-on clog for example — it’s convenient, comfortable, and long-lasting. The Birkenstock Boston Clog is probably the most popular style for fashion-minded shoppers, but at $160, they’re quite an investment. Instead, we found a practically identical version at Target that comes in four neutral colors and costs just $30.
The Betsy Clog Mule Flats from Target’s Universal Thread label are a seriously convincing alternative to the pricier Birkenstock shoe. From the suede material and metal buckle to the cork heel and textured outsoles, it’s difficult to sport any obvious difference between the Betsy Clog Mule and Boston Clog.

The Betsy Clog Mules come in a broad range of sizes and four stylish colors: Black, Cognac, Taupe, and Light Grey. All these great basic hues can be dressed down for basic errands or dressed up with nicer outfits, especially for outdoor occasions. The Light Grey version is probably our favorite pick if you’re styling the shoe during warm weather months, but the other colors are very similar to the ones the Birkenstock Boston Clog comes in, too.

But we actually stumbled upon the Betsy Clog Mule Flats while searching Target’s top-rated sandals for the spring and summer seasons. The shoes have over 900 reviews with a 90% recommendation rate, which means that shoppers are impressed by what these trendy Target shoes have to offer. In fact, some customers even said they prefer the Target version to the Birkenstock one and have already purchased second pairs of the Betsy Clog Mule Flats.
