I may be in my early 30s, but that hasn’t stopped me for going crazy over Squishmallows, especially ones of my favorite characters. With that said, I’ve been a fan of Pokémon ever since the Pokérap only had about 150 Pokémon to rap about — I know. So, when I found out Squishmallows was releasing a a jumbo-sized, 20-inch version of my all-time fave Gengar, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one.

Before I could even search for one online, 20-inch Gengar Squishmallows were already selling for over $100 on sites like eBay and Mercari. Believe it or not, many are still being sold for that much to this day. Even with three Target stores, a Walmart, and several malls with a Hot Topic (FYI, they’re actually having a 20% off sale on Squishmallows right now!) and BoxLunch near me, I couldn’t even find one.
