Is Target Open On The Fourth Of July?

·1 min read

It's that time of year again. All you want to do is have flip flops on your feet, shorts on your legs, and pool access. The grill should be fired up, and burgers should be charred just right. All this can mean only one thing—the Fourth of July is soon.

This year, the Fourth falls on a Monday, which means you have the entire weekend for holiday barbecues. You have plenty of time to pick out the juiciest tomatoes, the ripest watermelon, and the best buns. You can go all out on a summer salad and make some very patriotic desserts. But what if on the Fourth you realize that you forgot the ketchup, or the red, white, and blue paper plates, or the skewers for chicken kebabs. It's a federal holiday, so many chain stores could be closed. Can you just run out to the nearest Target?

Will Target be open on the Fourth of July?

Don't fret. Target will be open on July Fourth this year in case any last-minute items are needed poolside. While most stores will have normal business hours, it's a good idea to call ahead before making the trip. They will have everything you need for the best summer party, and probably some things you don't need, too.

What stores will be open on the Fourth of July?

Other than our trusty Target, Kroger, Walmart, Walgreens, and Whole Foods will be open. Just make sure to give them a call ahead of time to double check hours.
